When to Defeat the Fuel Can Safety Feature: Keeping Warm in the Work Shop

DISCLAIMER: Don't defeat safety devices where children can get a hold of these cans. It's not worth saving a few minutes if it puts your family at risk.

That said, I absolutely despise the nanny state that force companies to put these ill thought out devices on products. Do the regulators actually USE them themselves? I doubt it. My hands are killing me after pouring out 5 gallons with the nozzle on. And before I figured out how to take off the anti-open feature, I had to get my husband to take the doggone nozzles off so I could refill them.
