Cycle Adjustment Technique For Lucid Dreaming (CAT Tutorial)

✨ This is my tutorial on the CAT method for lucid dreaming (cycle adjustment technique) created by Daniel Love.

The CAT method is a powerful lucid dreaming induction technique which can help you have reliable lucid dreams whenever you want!

Here’s how it works:

For a week or two, set your alarm for the EXACT same time every morning, for example 630AM. (90 minutes earlier than you would normally go to sleep).

THEN, after you’re naturally waking up just before your alarm in the mornings (This might take random amounts of time, it depends on the individual), change it up so that every OTHER day, you set your alarm for 90 minutes LATER than normal.

So an average week could look like this:

Mon - 630AM
Tues - 8AM
Wed - 630Am
Thurs - 8AM
And so on..

Tips and tricks for the cycle adjustment technique:

Make sure you reset the cycle every 2 months. Your body is smart and it could get used to waking up at a different time every other day, so make sure that every month or two you go back to the first step, and have a week or two of waking up at the SAME time every morning.

Also, if you find you get tired while doing this technique, change it up and try a different one. Sleep is important, and you shouldn’t sacrifice restorative sleep for lucid dreams ALL the time. Sometimes it’s fine, but not all the time.
