So you want to improve your heart health?

Most of us have made the assumption that the best way to do this is to take up running or jogging. You don your shiny new running shoes, drive to the gym, hop on the treadmill and promise yourself to not quit until your 5 miles in. By mile one you're miserable. By mile three you're ready to quit.

No thanks.

Maybe we're being a little dramatic and don't get us wrong, we're not exactly against running. But for long-term, whole body health, we believe that there are better alternatives. Whether it's weight training, short high intensity workouts, yoga, or going for a walk after dinner, doing something is ALWAYS better than doing nothing. But if you're looking to keep your body, bones, and heart strong for the long run, Ed has a few tips to help make that happen.
