Veterans hope new research will pave way for easier access to medical marijuana treatments

More than 145 million Americans now live in a state that has legalized marijuana. However, at the federal level it's still illegal and many veterans who use cannabis say that has affected their ability to get proper treatment at federal health centers like Veterans Affairs. Some veterans now believe new changes in research will soon convince skeptical lawmakers.
