Clever club-goers trick bouncers by covering their white shoes with SOCKS

A group of clever clubgoers managed to dupe bouncers who wouldn't let them in over their white shoes - by using SOCKS.

Rachael Silvester, 27, had gone out with friends in Manchester to celebrate a birthday when one boy in their group was turned away.

Staff on the door said white trainers weren't allowed - forcing the party to come up with a plan.

They then hit upon the genius idea of disguising the man's trainers to look like dress shoes - by covering them with Rachael's friend's socks.

Queuing up again, the friendship group were over the moon when the bouncers didn't even bat an eyelid at the DIY disguise - and the whole crowd made it into the club.
