He Said I was “Putting Pressure on Him”

Q: I was dating this guy for 2 months and everything was going great! He was so lovely to me, said we were going to be inseparable, and he always told me he couldn’t wait to see me. But after our last date, he seemed a little “off” and when I asked him about it, he told me I had said a few things which made him feel uncomfortable—like asking what his plans were the following weekend which made him feel like I was keeping tabs on him. And, I also told him my ex had messaged me which he didn’t like, but I was just being honest. He said I was putting pressure on him, but I just trying to find out where we stood as I really like him. He asked for space and it’s been nearly 3 weeks and I haven’t heard anything. Do I message him or assume he isn’t interested?
