He Cheated on Me, Then Said He Has Bipolar

Question: My ex and I dated for a year and 8 months (a year of which, we were living together). A few months ago, I found inappropriate texts. When we talked about it, I learned he’d been having “emotional affairs” throughout our relationship AND that he’s Bipolar. I had no idea! We broke up and I moved out because I just couldn’t regain trust in him. I’m trying to date other guys, but I feel guilty and I worry about my ex’s mental health. We still talk because we care about each other so much. Should I cut off ties in order to truly move on?
