I Told Him I Wanted to Be Exclusive and He Ran

Question: I wish I could better understand what goes on in guys’ minds. I’ve been dating this guy for 3 months and it was going well. Yesterday, I told him I wanted to be exclusive and he ran a mile. I can’t guarantee he won’t want to date others. Yet, when we were together it couldn’t have felt better and like he wanted the comfort and the security of a relationship. I am so confused. 😔
