My BF’s Libido is Way Lower Than Mine

Question:

I’ve been in a relationship for two years. There is love and kindness— very different than anything I have ever had. But, he has low testosterone and sex has always been in frequent— once per week or every week and a half. But he’s very touchy and kisses me constantly. I know he loves me.

It’s the only issue we really have but when we talk about it, he gets frustrated with my questioning.

I realize my libido is higher than his. When he isn’t in the mood, I end up feeling rejected and undesirable.

My backstory in relationships has been very painful. My ex-husband used sex to make me feel horrible and ugly and that I never was enough. He was also addicted to porn.

My current relationship does not have any of those stressors.

How can I stop equating sex with love?
