** This is a repost because the YouTube algorithm punishes little channels that do not derive enough views when using the 'Premier' function. Since this beautiful hymn underperformed, the channel has received no traffic, and no new subs, and was banished to the 'who-cares' corner. If you enjoy the music here, please , like, subscribe and share. I'm not trying to get famous, or rich off of YouTube; I DID NOT MONETIZE THIS VIDEO, BUT YOUTUBE DECIDED IT WOULD MAKE THEM MONEY.

I just want to be able to present original sacred music to any who might enjoy or want to perform it.

I have been blessed and inspired by the many I've met through this forum, and hope to continue do so for years to come.
Robert, the Composer

History of the Prayer:
The St. Benedict Medal Exorcism prayer is used to invoke Divine assistance against evil spirits according to a Latin Formulary. This hymn adds an invocation to St. Michael the Archangel by repeating his famous declaration, Quis ut Deus? Who is like unto God?, in Hebrew; Micha-El.

*This composition was originally written in 1995, but has been revised in late December 2019 while retaining unique melodic elements.

Text and Translation:
On the back of the medal, within the cross at the center, are the following letters that represent a Latin prayer against Satan:

C. S. S. M. L. (Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux): “The Holy Cross be my light”

N. D. S. M. D. (Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux) “May the dragon never be my guide!”

Around the edge of the medal are more letters that stand for the Latin exorcism prayers:

V. R. S. (Vade Retro Satan): “Get away, Satan”
N. S. M. V. (Non Suade Mihi Vana): “Never tempt me with your vanities!”
S. M. Q. L. (Sunt Mala Quae Libas): “What you offer me is evil.”
I. V. B. (Ipse Venena Bibas): “Drink the poison yourself!”
