In this video I travel all around Bangkok showing you many of the major monuments and memorials in Bangkok. They are scattered around the city and I put them into one video so you can see and feel part of Thai history. Many of the monuments are in out of the way places and are not visited often so you will be able to see things that many of the Thais have never seen.

I show you monuments of the Thai kings Rama 1-6 and Rama 8. I also visited King Taksin the Greats Monument on the other side of the Chao Phraya River. In addition I show you Democracy and Victory Monuments as well as the memorial to the soldiers that fought in WW1 against the Germans, the Memorial of Expeditionary Forces. We also see a couple smaller memorials; the Golden Jubilee Memorial and Mother Earth Wringing her hair. I also visit the 14 OCTOBER 73 MEMORIAL and you can see learn about the massacre of 77 protesters in 1973 by the military dictatorship.

It was a fun video to make since I got to see parts of the city I have never been before so I hope you enjoy the video!
