What is a Geiger Counter? & Why Preppers Should Have One

When it comes to Geiger counters there are many to choose from, some are hundreds of dollars, and some can be as low as $25. Generally, the lower the price of the Geiger counter, the lower the sensitivity.

What says “doomsday prepper” more than a CDV Geiger counter? All joking aside, these are the Geiger counter of choice by preppers everywhere because of their low cost, and their effectiveness.

These can be as low as $25, but they need to be calibrated in order for them to be 100% accurate. Calibration will cost around $100, but this is the most reliable route to go for the price.
