In this video we are at the beginning of the one of the huge piece of history of the Roman empire in Sardinia, Italy, and of the world, I would say.

This is the most important Roman Bridge in Sardinia, built over two thousand years ago and one of the most important roman bridge of the all Italy.

It has seven arches, 135 meters long, at least 135 meters of it has been brought to the light or I'd better say has not covered, since this is a Roman Colonia, so we don't know how long actually is.

As I said it was build during the Roman Era over two thousand years ago, and what makes it the most important bridge in Sardinia it is its xcellently preserved state, and its strategical point, since it was built to connect the Roman Colonia with the mines and the fields of the sub-region called Nurra;

It was also the start point of a main roman street which at the time connected the Colonia with another most important urban center, which was called Karales.

In this serie of videos we will literally walk on two thousand years of history, where I will show you the entire bridge from every possibile spot.

I'll walk all the way up, showing you the amazing shape of the bridge, the stones of trachyte and limestone, and the amazing view of the river that flows under it.

And then I will show the amazing views of the river and the landscape from the right side and left side of it;

Then l will walk back and I will do pretty much the same.

Eventually I will show you its architecture and foundations from the ground; you will have an amazing look of the arches, since I will go through the arches, below the bridge.

It's gonna be awesome! We will see you on this masterpiece! 👊
