About Those Death Heads

These are a couple excerpts from an interview Jim Busha did with Ret Col Philip Adair in 2006. Col Adair was the Flight Leader for D Flight in the 89th Fighter Squadron. He flew P-40 and later P47 fighters planes and the unit was known as the Burma Banshees. He interviewed my father in preparation for a magazine article.
