County approves planning for third and fourth transportation corridors

Councilors Gary Medivigy and Eileen Quiring O'Brien expressed their support and the need for planning third and fourth transportation corridors and bridges quite some time ago. They have both pushed on the RTC Board for planning to commence. Medvigy successfully got the RTC Board to review their 2008 “Visioning Study” two years ago, but nothing has happened since. The council is now taking a leadership role in moving the planning forward. This discussion took place during Council Time discussion.
