The Story Behind Paul's Woodworks
Who is Paul, the man behind your custom woodwork creation?
In 2000, Paul Beiler was born onto a family dairy farm in York county Pennsylvania into a conservative religious Amish community.
His family on the farm consisted of his father and mother as well as his grandparents, his 3 older brothers, 1 older sister and one younger brother. (currently he has one more younger brother that was born after they moved off the farm)
Living on the farm he enjoyed helping take care of the livestock and hanging around his father and grandfather, learning the ways of the farm.
He enjoyed exploring in the bush being creative with whatever sticks and resources he could find to build shelters and huts to play in.

His earliest memory of building something in the shop was when he was about 6 years old, he built a little manure scraper to scrape the cow stalls! Just a simple scrap of plywood nailed to a stick for a handle.
Some other things he liked to build as a young boy were farm toys. He really enjoyed playing farm with his toys and adding to his farm collection that was based around a really cool dairy barn built by his uncle!
When a teenager, his parents had moved the family off the farm and away from the Amish community and way of life, which lead him to stop creating in the shop, and play sports instead.
After ceasing with sports at the age of 17, he started making things again in the garage with his father’s tools, and realized how much he enjoyed woodworking! He watched all the youtube videos on woodworking that he found and challenged himself to try the cool and traditional methods of woodworking that he was seeing on YouTube.
At the age of 18, he started working for a high end construction company, where his skill and knowledge grew substantially. Thanks to his prudent and aspiring coworkers and employers! Paul remains grateful for the many experiences and opportunities he had and the lessons he learned at Quarry View!
While at Quarry View, he was referred to a client of theirs to build some farm house trestle tables. He had never sold any of his works before, or even built a woodworking project by himself at such a large scale. Thanks to the confidence placed in him by Levi, his project manager, he took this opportunity and never looked back!
Paul worked at Quarry View for about 2 years, while selling a few of his own projects on the side, before jumping full time into his woodworking business!
Most of all, Paul gives thanks to the Lord for providing him the experiences and opportunities that have led to him being able to have his own business. There are many valuable lessons to learn in running a business. Lessons applicable not only in business, but in many areas of life, including in the spiritual.
