On Thursday, at about 14:25, a fireball appeared in the sky over Alta in Norway, which swept through the atmosphere over the city at a speed of about 5-10 kilometers per second.

Several eyewitnesses filmed what was happening on the camera of their phones.
The Norwegian press made a fuss about this event, which forced various scientists and military officials to answer journalists' questions and give comments. Unidentified object was recorded by at least three cameras:

On one of the videos, it is remarkably clear that the object is neither a meteorite, nor a satellite, nor even some kind of rocket. It consists of three rigidly interconnected parts, one of which resembles the fuselage, and two are engines placed in the wings or something similar.

The press secretary of the operational headquarters of the armed forces (FOH) Preben Aursand writes in an email to the newspaper that they are not familiar with this phenomenon, but there is no question of military activity.

"We don't have silent flying creatures with tails burning with green light. So this time it's not us," said Elizabeth Eikeland, major and spokeswoman for the Supreme Command of the Armed Forces in Bodo.

"This is very, very unusual," Morten Ticket, from the Norwegian Meteor Network, told VG.
