A Tired Dog Is A Good Dog.. Work in treadmill time as part of your behavioral modification training.

A tired dog is a better dog. A tired dog is less aggressive dog. A tired dog is a less destructive dog. A tired dog magically has less separation anxiety. A tired dog is far less reactive dog. Movement is the answer to so many "behavioral" issues.

Outside walking as a team is great! Allows the dog to smell, feel the grass, inventory the air etc. Long walks are critical for association and bonding. But long walks and play rarely truly tire a dog out. Swimming, treadmill time, etc - is often a huge part of the puzzle for ingrained aggression.
True aggression CAN NOT be trained out. But it can be managed. Life style change, changing the human dog dynamic, truly addressing behavior and not hiding from or pretending it's not that bad, and yes - lots of activity is required.
