Quake (2021) - END: Shub-Niggurath's Pit (Nightmare, 100% Secrets)

With all four runes in hand, a massive stairway has opened in the middle of the floor in the Introduction leading into the final stage of the game! Shub-Niggurath actually doesn't attack you herself, but she is heavily guarded by a horde of Shamblers and Vores! There is a secret Quad Damage in this map, but it's at the end of the long trap-filled walkway past all the spawning enemies, so it will be tough to get it. After fighting through all the Vores and Shamblers, you find a teleporter. This teleporter is how you kill Shub-Niggurath. When the thing flying around the room flies inside of Shub-Niggurath, use the teleporter to teleport where it is (inside her) and telefrag her! You can actually kill Shub-Niggurath with regular ammo, but she has so much HP that you need a fully-maxed arsenal and Quad Damage on every single shot to kill her that way. So just telefrag her.

With the death of Shub-Niggurath, the base Quake game is done! However, the 2021 remastered version includes four other episodes, so Quake as a whole is still far from over! Dimension of the Past is next!
