Economics and Covid

This is a lecture I gave to high school students on the economics of covid.

Normally, we leave health care decisions to physicians and patients. But when we involve politicians, the media, and public opinion, we often end up responding in ways that are either disproportionate or inadequate. That appears to be what happened with covid.
