Viro is short for environment, creating the perfect en-viro-ment for ants.

Our New Viro 0.3 for those rearing new ant colonies of up too 300, or ant colonies freshly moved out of their birth test tube setup.

Design description: Consists of three interchangeable test tubes connected to a well ventilated outworld.

Hydration Level: 40%-60% humidity (Hydration levels come from test tube when it is filled with water) Each entrance hole is a different size, which will balance hydration amongst the tubes and your ants will move to whatever they feel is best for them.

Also suitable for: All common small ant species, including but not limited to Lasius Niger, Lasius flavus.

Connectivity – The out world can easily connect directly to our 16mm test tubes that are provided. Once your test tube colony is ready to be moved into your out world, simply remove the cotton plug from the test tube and insert the test tube into an entrance using a test tube adapter – DONE!

Cover – Ants naturally feel comfortable having their nest space cloaked in darkness. Our Viro 0.3 comes with a red cover so you can keep your ants in the dark when you are not observing them.
