[1 Corinthians 15:46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural [that's right], afterwards that which is [what?] spiritual.
[47] The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
[48] As is the earthy, such are they also that earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
Verse 49: And as we have borne the image [the image] of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the [what?] heavenly.

Amen. Are you sure you're here tonight? If you're sure you are here tonight you're bearing the image of the earthly. So shall you also, if you're born again of God's spirit, bare whose image? The image that shall be like him. That image.

[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot [what?] inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

You see you don't automatically corrupt to inherit incorruption. You know what that says? You don't automatically die and go to heaven. Because he just got through saying that this incorruption must be raised up and given a body, a spiritual body.

Now here we are:

Verse 51: [I'm going to] shew you a mystery [he says] we shall not all [what?] sleep, but we shall all be [what?] changed.

Now here he gets right down to the church. The resurrection primarily belongs to Israel and the ungodly unbeliever, the resurrection. Now he takes us deep within this and shows us exactly what happens to the church.

[52] In a moment [verse 52], in the twinkling of an eye, at the last [blast of the atom bomb? Nope.] at the last [what?] trump:

That's right. When the congregations of the Old Testament were called together before God it was the sounding of the horn. It was not the fire alarm. You know, you don't get what I'm after here. The last trump, it's not a blaring alarm. It's a calling of the beloved to come, that's all. Don't you? The Old Testaments got it people. He called the congregation together with the rams horn, remember? It was not an alarm. When they heard the ram's horn it was a calling together. They knew it was time. It wasn't an alarm: get off your feet get over here or else. But they lovingly, that's why that words used.

[52b] in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound,

And here the trumpet that's going to sound is not the one in Matthew. God's got a few extra trumpets. Not limited to the one in Matthew. This one here is talking about, is calling together, the mystery, the church. And every time the bible talks about the coming, the calling of the church, it's always out from among the dead. Those words are used every place. Not in your King James, but in the Revised 1891, it has it accurately translated every place. But not the King James. Every place it is translated 'out from among them.' The church comes out from among.

[52c] and the dead shall be raised [what?] incorruptible, and we [we which are alive at this time] shall be [what?] changed.

Why? Because we have not died, that's why.

[53] For this corruptible must put on [what?] incorruption, and this mortal must put on [what?] immortality.

So the person that's living at that time, he is immortal.

[54b] then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in [what?] victory.

Because until then, the last enemy will have to be what? Destroyed. And the last enemy is what? Death. And after this corruption shall have put on incorruption. And this mortal shall have put on immortality. Immortality [Inaudible]. Then, then, then, then shall be brought (the time element people) shall be brought to pass

[54c] death is swallowed up in victory.

They read these verses at cemeteries all the time. Like as if it's a reality now. It isn't. Then, only with the Christ's return will anybody get up. Only with Christ's return will anybody be changed. Only with Christ's return will there be a resurrection.

[55] O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
[56] The sting of death is [what?] sin; and the strength of sin is [what?] the law.
[57] But thanks be to God, who [does what?] giveth us the victory through our Lord [what?] Jesus Christ.

Isn't that wonderful?

[57] Thanks be to God, [who] giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
[58] Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain.
