Tom Booth is an author, illustrator, and art director. Born on the twelfth day of the twelfth month, Tom made his earliest marks — sometimes on his parents’ antique kitchen table — growing up just outside of Philadelphia. Tom has had the good fortune to work with Macmillan, Simon & Schuster, Workman Publishing, Nicktoons, and Scholastic

Tom attended Hamilton College where he majored in history and mark-making, otherwise known as studio art. After graduating, Tom moved to New York City to begin working for Scholastic, so that he could afford a table for more mark making. Eventually, Tom made enough marks to convince the wonderful publishers at Simon & Schuster that he was ready for his first picture book, Derek Jeter Presents Night at the Stadium, which became a #1 bestseller on Amazon. Currently, Tom lives in Brooklyn with his fiancée, one normal cat named Luna, and one highly unstable cat named Rory.
