On February 8, 2022, a small number of anti-vaccine-mandate protesters rallied in front of the Police Benevolent Association in downtown Manhattan in support of NYPD employees who have refused to comply with New York City’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate that requires police to provide proof of vaccination by February 11, 2022. Those who do not comply face termination.

Philip McManus, a retired NYPD officer and Republican organizer, attended the protest and talked to us about Constitutional rights, why he decided not to get a COVID-19 vaccine, and the loss of trust in government.

WE APPRECIATE everyone who takes the time to share their perspective with NYC for Yourself!
