D'Angelico Excel EXL1 Hollowbody Jazz Guitar - UNPLUGGED

This is an example of the unplugged, acoustic tone of a D'Angelico Excel EXL1 Hollowbody Jazz Guitar. I used a Dunlop .73 Tortex guitar pick and recorded with an AKG P420 large diaphragm, dual capsule microphone into a ZOOM Q8HD camera via xlr cable.
The guitar has an all-laminate maple body with laminate spruce top.
I removed the non-functional pickup. They list it as "floating" but have them taped to the top with double-sided tape. I plan to put in a pair of Seymour Duncan Seth Lover non-potted pickups and good wiring including 4 pots - two volume and two tone, as one might find in a far more expensive Gibson L5
Clip is about the first half of Barney Kessel's version of "Autumn Leaves"
Let me know what you think.
