One Seven UK is a family business in Southampton, England.

We are husband and wife, Matt and Verji, and daughters, Rachel and Abigail. Matt is originally from Yeovil, England; Verji is originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. We met in Winchester, England, November 2006; got engaged at the Statue of Liberty, March 2007; and married in Winchester, August 2007. Verji is a radiographer, working at the hospital in Southampton; Matt is in charge of the children's homeschooling.

As a small child, Verji used to watch both her grandmothers crocheting, knitting, and sewing. Verji wanted to imitate them and at the age of seven she began crocheting and knitting. During the years since then, Verji has always had an interest in creating different things to give as presents, and make people happy.
