Wheel of Time Season 1 Episode 3 Review Reaction Place of Safety - Fan Fiction Departure From Cannon

Wheel of Time Season 1 Episode 3 review reaction is here. While I thought episode 2 was an improvement over episode 1 because it stuck more to the books and the lore, even having entire speeches taken from the Wheel of Time cannon. Episode 3 is a disappointment. This barely has anything from the books in it at all, and while some stories are merged together ideas from several threads in the books, many others are just fabricated and contribute nothing. If you are looking for a faithful recreation of the Wheel of Time cannon, then this is not it.

We see Perrin and Egwene chased by wolves. Nynaeve escaping trollocks only to run head first into the wrong end of Lan. The tinkers and Thom Merrilin get their first introductions all the while Rand and Mat meet their first darkfriend. Spoilers for episode 3 Amazon Prime TV Series as well as for the books up to the chronological time of the TV series, unless it looks like they may have shifted that into future episodes.
