Police moved in to try to end the blockade at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor on Saturday, bringing multiple armoured vehicles and rooftop officers to the area where Freedom Convoy protesters have been occupying the roads and shuttering traffic into Canada from the bridge since Monday afternoon.

Late Saturday morning, police slowly began moving the crowd down Huron Church Road away from the intersection with College Avenue, right at the entrance to/exit from the bridge. Though the crowd moved back without arrest or incident, protesters have remained out throughout the day, standing off against a line of officers as the bridge remains closed to Canada-bound traffic as of Saturday evening.
