Cannabis & Cannabinoids for Pain Management: What Nurses Need to Know

Many chronic pain patients are now using marijuana and/or CBD as part of their pain management program. Unfortunately, most nurses and providers are unfamiliar with cannabis and cannabinoids. This video is a basic introduction to cannabis and examines the evidence of cannabis use for pain management. It also reviews the pharmacology of cannabis with THC and CBD, along with some basic nursing considerations.
