THIS WILL DESTROY THE PET TRADE

Amendments to the Lacy Act will end the trade of all animals except very few. Cats and dogs are specifically excluded. This bill is intended to stop all trade of animals based on a commitment to end all invasive species. There is no research involved. There is no attempt to evaluate any species except as it is popular.
This is draconian and deeply and terribly destructive of so much it is hard to describe. Farmers, native collectors, unique biotopes, and the protection of endangered species will be ended.
This MUST be stopped. It will destroy not just the pet industry . It will destroy species that will no longer have the protection of having any value.
Contact Senator Rubio TODAY and DEMAND that this horrible legislation be pulled out of the bill. He put it in, he can take it out.
