OH NOW YOU CARE ABOUT THE SECOND AMENDMENT

Though I understand the rationale behind no-knock warrants, I am not in support of them for one simple reason: I have the right to defend my person, my family and my property. If you are entering my property unannounced then I have no choice but to conclude you mean to do me and/or my family harm. I believe this places both law enforcement (who have no malicious intent) and the property owner in an unnecessary predicament that increases the chances of injury or loss of life. That being said, this ABC News article clearly does not care about the shooting of Mr. Locke or the debate on the constitutionality of no-knock warrants. ABC News is opportunistically taking advantage of this tragic circumstance to push the unfounded narrative that black Americans are somehow disproportionately affected by systemically biased policing. They cleverly site data to support their assertions while at the same time implying that the statistical results are do to bias alone and not contributed to by the individual choices of black citizens. If these left leaning media platforms really cared about the loss of black lives then they would bring to the forefront the root causes of the symptoms that they so passionately report on as if they have no idea why it happens. You cannot begin to solve a problem that you are unwilling to admit even exists, right?
