I found out that stacking them top to bottom throws them in a vertical line, shoot the bottom one, rack, shoot the next one as it falls into your sights. Sometimes I can get three that way.
If you line the clays up along the thrower as opposed to stacking them, it will throw them vertically across the field.
I got that throws for $60 used from a guy at the range one day.
