Khadija and her cousin Waraqah told Mohammed he was a chosen prophet of Allah, after Mohammed thought a demon had attacked him, and wanted to commit suicide after the experience. Her former husband had been an oracle, telling the future by means of a djinn, which had made her wealthy and enabled her to become a trader.
