It seems every year we have to make the trip to Orlando for some bass fishing in Disney World...but this year we decided to add on a trip to Crystal River where we could swim in the beautiful clear springs with the local wildlife. Of course, everyone's goal is to come across a few manatees but we personally enjoyed seeing the plethora of other species such as largemouth bass, sheepshead, blue gills and turtles! There aren't very many places in the US you can find freshwater and saltwater species swimming and eating in the same river!
