A community member challenged me to create a trading system that uses the Ichimoku indicator plus “some other indicators” to provide more conformation. That is exactly what I did, and this system shows extreme promise. While it needs much more testing, I think by adding my optimization tips and strategies it can be adapted into a very good complete trading system.

In addition to reviewing the indicators, providing exact entry rules, defining the take profit and stop loss levels, testing it for 100 consecutive setups, reviewing the results, discussing the equity curve, and scoring the system on a scale of 1 to 10, I also share my 5 optimization tips that you can try in your own trading system development.
