Vancouver Freedom Convoy 2022

What a crazy bunch of events the last week! I was touched and surprised by the truckers actions, but more than anything - I feel hopeful. Hope is the the only thing strong than fear. People around the globe have been living in fear the last 2 years. Fear of a virus - fear of their neighbor’s - fear of judgment - fear of loosing jobs… 24/7 fear from the news, the radio, the media. WHY?

If you ask people why they got vaccinated; a large majority would admit that it was NOT a fear of COVID. It was a fear of the consequences if they didn’t comply.

I do not feel that a year into this pandemic, when we had 12 months of actual data, that our government made choices based on those facts. They have continued to instill fear and have reported very little hope.

The vaccines are NOT doing what they were intended to do. Period. You can still pass covid and catch covid. Saskatchewan and Alberta both reported numbers just as high as numbers they has seen a year ago. So, if its not doing what it was intended to do; why force it?

The mandates need to go because they are not working. SIMPLE. This is not a stance of vax or no vax; it is a movement to end restrictions that are not working. Nothing makes sense. Nothing is working. Why force people to choose between a treatment that does not work and having to go to work to feed their families.

Hundreds of thousands of people showed up today. My friend Dee is double vaccinated. We met doctors, truckers, students of all ages, races and both sexes who are against the mandates and want to get our freedoms back. Open up our economy. Take the masks off our kids. Look at the facts and the science and the data from the last 18 months and make choices based on this, not out of fear and need to control.

THANK YOU TRUCKERS FOR STANDING UP. This is a magical moment in our history and I am hopeful of the outcome.
