Part of Satan's clever strategy, the reason it works so well, is because people are in denial. Christians that don't go to church but twice a year think they are doing ok spiritually. They just hand Satan an easy win, and then deny it. If you point it out to them, they will get defensive and most likely start accusing you of being a weak Christian.

We must give the devil his due. Satan is cleaver. He defeats many Christians easily and they never know they have been defeated.
