Robin Trower was the lead guitarist for Procol Harum before he broke away and went solo so today's Segue City Special features him with the band and on his own. Throughout the years he has been compared to Jimi Hendrix among others but never has gotten the fame or exposure that some guitar slingers have gotten. That's a pity. We feel like he wields a mean axe... And "Too Rolling Stone" is one hell of a road song...

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It will also be expanded as a part of that format and finally evolve into a full, long-form programming element on its own. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
