Just You n' Me in the Country

As usual the Mayor is holding down the fort over the weekend and has decided to follow our lead in doubleheading the segues through the weekend. So, he's started with a Chicago "two-fer" with some of their earlier works where their lyrics were more serious and the horn section more real. The usual mysteries of what does he mean and who are these for remain in place and we've resigned ourselves to be not being able to figure any of that out... we don't have to so we won't. Happy New Year!

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

The feature will be available for integration into other AIR Classic Rock terrestrial stations in the future as well. It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
