Suavasito in the Latin Quarter

As the second segue of today's doubleheader Segue City Special (and don't get use to two every day - one is tough enough), the Mayor is going with Malo and their only hit song into Marc Antoine meandering through the Latin Quarter and just like that this segue came together for the Mayor. He's happy and so are we about the Georgia Bulldogs rolling over Michigan Friday night in Miami to set up the reckoning with that little college in Alabama where someone keeps stealing their coloring books...

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It will also be expanded as a part of that format and finally evolve into a full, long-form programming element on its own. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

The feature will be available for integration into other AIR Classic Rock terrestrial stations in the future as well. It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...

At least that’s the idea… your mileage may vary, check with your dealer; so, you don’t forget order before midnight; operators standing by for your important call; Our talent is on loan from God. We just pray He'll let us finish another segue for tomorrow... if you liked today's segue, our Mayor is known as the Silver Haired Man of Rock n' Roll. At least that’s the idea… your mileage may vary, check with your dealer; so, you don’t forget order before midnight; operators standing by for your important call; offer void where prohibited by law and that normally means it's legal everywhere but in New Mexico... is that gun really loaded or not? One atomic bomb was already dropped on that state... why couldn't they have just finished the job back then?

This feature is a three-time winner of the Thomas J. Duke Memorial Music Segue and BBQ Cook-Off Award.
