Kevin DiPasquale, now from the Douglas County Federation (teachers union) chastising the BOE of education on December 2018 about teacher pay. The voters of Douglas County had passed an MLO, yet the majority BOE and David Ray delivered next to nothing in the way of a pay raise for the teachers. As the caption to the original FB video states: "after receiving less than 1% pay raise, this teacher of 22 years told the Douglas County School Board he felt hurt. His colleague felt "punched in the gut". He says teachers and staff who campaigned to pass the $40 million 5a ballot measure are upset their raises don't match the board's promise to close internal pay gaps and compete with neighboring districts".
