As I mentioned in the video. the traditional brand of hot dog served with greek sauce, is a SMITHS hot dog. Smiths is a company local to Erie Pennsylvania, that specializes in hotdogs, bacon, cheddar wurst, and many other products. It is so popular that it is not uncommon for hometown people to buy hundreds of dollars worth of smiths products to take to family members that live out of state. There are many places in town that also sell and will ship " Erie boxes." Due to the fact that there are quite a few regional foods that are only available here in Erie, this practice is becoming much more common.
