NEREX PanAm Northern Mainline Motorcar Run - Manchester Section

On November 27, 2021, the first motorcar run in history on PanAm Railways occurred as they host 19 cars on the Northern Main Line through Concord, NH to North Chelmsford, MA. Hard work and dedication by PAR District 2 dispatcher and motorcar enthusiast, Dan Peck, made this 30yr in the making trip a reality for all.

To make the event even better, at the safety meeting Dan announced that there will most likely be a second run on PanAm before the CSX takeover date...but let's not get "tunnel vision"...

This video covers the section in Manchester through the Amoskeag Mill District. Manchester at one time had a large yard that served the Portsmouth Branch, Manchester & Lawrence Branch, Goffstown Branch and the Northern Mainline. Now a shadow of its former self, hopefully Manchester will see a rail resurgence with the CSX purchase of PAR and VRS's purchase of New England Southern.
