Science and Spirituality; Everything We Know is Wrong

As we step into the shadow of history, (instead of out of out of it as we had hoped) and into a Brave New World/1984 hybrid reality, it is all too apparent that a reappraisal of every influence that brought us here is in order. We have to contemplate what we have been clinging to, and let go of our leaden ontological burdens. We must crush them to dust, and transmutate that dust into gold. And those leaden burdens are everything we believed; our political, religious, and spiritual institutions have all failed. Despite this, most people leap from religion to religion, from cult to cult, and from capitalism to socialism, Marxism to communism, Left to Right; all ontological traps, abortive births of the old aeon. Even quantum physics seems to have recently invalidated itself. If we are married to the Old World, we are sleeping with a corpse.
It is time for something totally new. An emergent new consciousness born of a process that integrates all of the best aspects of these old systems, while simultaneously transcending them all. In our ignorance and hubris we have made too much of the old beliefs and systems; in retrospect they are all readily perceived as inadequate at best, and deranged and imbecilic at worst. And so, as luck would have it, transcending it all will not be difficult.... in theory. Practice, (implementation), will be met with the resistance of the entrenched elite, and the sleepwalkers that fearfully cling to their doom, shadow boxing the apocalypse.
And so tonight we will continue last nights theme; we will look at the cause and prescribe a cure. We will examine the potential collapse of quantum theory, consider why it wasn't bigger news (the same reason that no one cares that UFO's have been acknowledged by the pentagon?), and try to imagine how this could impact our understanding of the Universe, and whether the correlations that have been made between science and spirituality can withstand a quantum revolution.
Science has been wrong in another area as well, one that challenges our Western understanding of the origins of consciousness. Tune to find out what it is....and then turn on, drop out, and take over.
