The cause of the Union was truly righteous, the Confederates was NOT.

All men are created equal, for the Confederates, even the Black Union prisoners of war were still considered "Fugitive slaves" and therefore not treated as human beings. Once again you can see that the Union and Abraham Lincoln was on the RIGHT side of His story, that being the story of "For God so loved the world.."
