How to backup and restore Registry also backup a particular key in Registry

Press Windows + R Key
Type regedit
Click OK
Click Yes
Go to File
Click Export
Give a file Name
Click Save
It will take some time to create backup
By default it's save in Documents folder
To restore registry from backup file
Again Click on File
Click on Import
Go to Documents folder Select file
Click open
Now it will start restoring
Before making change in a Key should take backup that particular Key
Go to Key in which you going to make change
Right click on it
Click Export
Save this Key by it's name
Now you can make change and if your change are not done correctly then you can easly restore it to actual
Right click on backup file click on Merge to restore
Click Yes
File have been successfully added to the registry
Click OK
That's IT
