ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:
In this excerpt from Part 3 of "What Killed DC Universe?" (Subtitle: "What was DC Universe Missing?"), Moonjumper takes a look at an obscure superheroine from DC's past: Rima, the Jungle Girl. Rima was created by William Henry Hudson in his 1904 novel, "Green Mansions," which was later adapted into a 1959 MGM motion picture, starring Audrey Hepburn and Anthony Perkins--which further inspired a 1970s DC Comics adaptation. From there, Rima joined Hanna-Barbera's "Super Friends" cartoon as a recurring character.
