Melania Trump Fashion Icon - Pink Petal Princess in India

During their historic state visit to India in February 2020, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump visited Raj Ghat, which is the memorial for Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi, India.

At the memorial, the Trumps threw handfuls of petals, as is customary in India for important occasions. First Lady Melania Trump was photographed throwing bright pink petals.

Perhaps the First Lady drew inspiration from the pink petals for her fashion choices for the state banquet that the Indian Prime Minister Modi and his wife hosted in honour of the Trumps the following day. For the banquet, and her departure from India, Melania Trump wore a pink Carolina Herrera tie-neck silk-crepe gown.

The First Lady dazzles as the Pink Petal Princess personified. Once again, Melania Trump proves that she is the top fashion icon of our time.
