Censorship - Time to roll up our sleeves again...

In the early '90s, I really thought the battle had been won. The rap/hip-hop community, metal community, and comics community had beaten back Tipper Gore and her tyrannical #PMRC censors. You could find NWA, W*A*S*P and REVCO in record stores, Hot Blood and Love In Vein in bookstores and Taboo, The Collected R. Crumb, Heavy Metal and other Mature Readers titles in comic shops. It appeared #freespeech and #freeexpression had won. Unfortunately, a generation later, from the same pit crawl new tyrants desperate to silence others. Enemies of the constitution in the '60s, the '80s/'90s, and today. Time to roll up our sleeves again...
