Russian planes take part in patrols in Syria's Golan Heights

For the first time, Russia has deployed a fleet of fighter planes to participate in patrols in the Golan Heights, the southern region of Syria, which has been in conflict with Israel.

Russia, which is involved in the Syrian internal conflict between the Assad Regime against the Rebels and ISIS, has so far been silent about the aggression and air strikes carried out by Israel in southern Syria. Syria is the only Arab country that is in fact still at war with Israel, because the two countries do not have a peace treaty.
